While most of our services allow customers to create, manage, send and see messages we have two sophisticated interfaces that facilitate a direct connection into our switch and gateway. These connection options are available to companies who want to have a more hands-on level of control over all of their messaging capabilities, connect directly from their own web applications and much more.

TextPower can offer technical assitance on an hourly basis to assist with this connectivity but you probably won't need it thanks to our clear, substantial documentation for developers. Most of our customers complete their projects with minimal, if any, assistance.

Powerful, Comprehensive APIs

TextPower offers a wide variety of API (Application Programming Interface) functions so you can build your own applications and control them from your own server or desktop.

For example, if you have a server we can forward any mobile-originated messages sent to your keyword or dedicated short code directly to that server. These APIs vary from relatively basic interfaces for sending and receiving messages to extremely sophisticated ones that allow you build databases on our server, access high speed bulk sending facilities, retrieve delivery status and much more. Standard object application program (SOAP) interfaces are even more sophisticated, and allow you to do even more, than our standard API. If you have a specific need that requires intricate interfacing with your backoffice system, or machine-to-machine communication, our SOAP interface will provide you with the power and simplicity you need to make it happen.
